We at The Wolf hook up with Wayside Waifs animal shelter a couple of times a year to help them empty the shelter so that they can take in more animals from other shelters that don’t have as much room. Of course the cute dogs and kittens are the first to find homes, but there are some awesome adult cats that are hard to place.

If you have the room, and the love, please consider adopting an adult cat from Wayside Waifs. The great thing about getting an adult cat is that they have already developed their personalities and you can find one that fits your situation best. Some of them even get along with dogs!

The official beginning of Fall is at 4:19 this afternoon. Not that I hate Fall, but can’t we put it off for a little while? Maybe just a minute?

Back a few years ago, at what was then called “Verizon Wireless Amphetheater”, a certain opening band was selling 8×10 pictures at their merchandise stand for $100.00 with the promise (I assume kept) that you could get the photo autographed after the show. It just so happened that the next day there was a big awards show in Las Vegas. I wonder what they did with the money. I thought and still do that asking people to pay for the “honor” of their autograph is lame.

They are a headliner now. Can you guess who they are?

Well the week has begun and it’s feeling more like fall and I’m starting to look forward to the fall colors. I’ve lived in California for most of the last 7 years and this will be the first time in a couple years I’ve seen the fall colors in KS. I’m looking forward to Maple Leaf Festival in Baldwin, that always makes it feel like fall to me. It good being home! Thanks to everyone who came out the Adopt-a-thon at www.waysidewaifs.org we sent 216 Wolf listeners home new additions to their familys.
