Flu prevention 101

UPDATE: Chlorhexidine is available through your dentist or your family doc. But it could be worth a shot.
Minty Fresh Breath Could Stave Off Swine Flu
You need some anti-bacterial mouthwash. And don’t just use it once a day.Yyou should be gargling thrice daily. It’s not that we have you a problem with your breath, we just want you to be healthy! According to the Center for Disease Control, frequent daily use of mouthwash containing compounds chlorhexidine (check the back label) could stave off Swine Flu. The bacteria, after all, frequently enters through and grows inside the mouth. So shut that crud down where it lives and get unprecedentedly fresh breath as an added bonus.

what happened to fall?
Posted in: Wes
I went to watch my nephew play soccer on Saturday, I had to bundle up. It has been a while since I endured a KS winter so I could be way off, but I thought we had a couple months with the temps in the 60’s. I am hoping we get a few warmer weeks before the nasty stuff hits. Hope you have a great week! Thanks for listening to the Wolf. (WP)

First Freeze this weekend!
Posted in: Wes
So the “weather website” I look at says we will get our first freeze this weekend! Kinda wild, I had hoped to have so much more done around the house before it really started getting cold. Oh well, I’m OK with lazy weekends doing nothing because it’s too damn cold. Hope you have a great weekend and try to stay warm! (WP)

Rainy Day Blahs…
Posted in: Wes
Tough getting out of bed on days like this. There is something about the sound of rain that pretty much sucks any ambition right out of me. But I’m here… As I write this I’m playing “something to be proud of” from Montgomery Gentry. I think getting out of bed today is something to be proud of. :0) Hope you have a great day and thank for listening to the wolf! (WP)

The chance to meet Taylor Swift.
Posted in: Wes
I know there are a lot of Taylor fans out there. I remember getting so many calls from folks before the show she had with Keith Urban, wanting to get back stage at the show to meet her. A lot of people with kids here in the building were knocking on my door including a lot of people I had not met before or talked to since. It’s a big deal to meet this rising star and if you sing like Taylor you will have the chance to possibly meet her, and if you win the local portion of the contest, you’ll win a thousand bucks. It’s a pretty sweet deal you can click here to find out all the info, and good luck. (WP)
