Arbor Day is this Friday. I love Arbor Day — and I still would, even if my last name weren’t Arbore!

It’s a great time “to plant, nurture and celebrate trees,” as the Arbor Day Foundation says.

Need some color and cool shade in your life? Consider planting a tree… or two or three!

Yes, she’s Phil Collins daughter, Lily Jane Collins, who plays “Collins” in the Blind Side. You may have seen her on Nickelodeon, Glamour magazine, 90210 etc. She’s the inspiration for Dad’s song, “You’ll Be In My Heart”

Great show last night. For those of youwho love some good banjo music, you should check out  http://www.stevemartin.com/ Very Blue Grassy but with his brand of comedy mixed into the show. What a talented banjo player!

If he comes back to town I would recommend that you check it out… One of the best shows I’ve seen! (WP)

What a beautiful time of year!

It’s amazing how fast time flies, so be sure to take some time to get a good, strong whiff of the flowers! 

Gardening is one of my all-time favorite things to do.  Here’s a pic I snapped of some of the lilacs in my yard.

Wanted to post an update on Willie, He’s our puppy we got from Wayside Waif’s

I think he’s already grown a couple inches, I just got an update a few minutes ago from my fiancee that he laid down for a treat. We got him to sit in a day and laydown has been a little more challenging. We’ve had close calls but never haven’t been able to get him to do it without a little help. Neither me or my fiancee have ever trained a dog, and we’re glad to see that the work we’re doing is paying off. The only advice I can give so far is to do plenty of walks. It will help you sleep at night! (WP)
