Kenny Chesney

will take the stage with rocker Steve Miller for an upcoming edition of C-M-T’s Crossroads. The two first played together in San Francisco at one Kenny’s stadium shows. He tells us, “I didn’t think I’d ever meet guys like Steve Miller, much less be friends with him and share a stage with him.”

I saw that show in San Francisco and Steve Miller joined Kenny on stage for a couple of songs toward the end of his set, it was one of those cool moments that I’ll never forget. Let me tell you this crossroads is one not to miss. We’ll keep you posted when we get more info!

When Steve called Kenny to invite him to be part of Crossroads, he quickly said yes. “He’s so down to earth, so easy-going, you’d never think about what a big star he is… It is truly an honor to get to do this with him.”

No air date has been set for the show.

Click on the picture to follow Jimmy!
On January 1, 2010, Jimmy Wayne launched his “Meet Me Halfway” campaign when he begins his solo walk halfway across America in Nashville, TN.  Wayne’s intention is not only to raise awareness of the plight of the homeless, especially at risk children, teens and young adults, but also raise funds for organizations that benefit homeless youth, including HomeBase Youth Services, a Phoenix, AZ based organization that provides essentials for homeless young adults. Wayne will begin the walk at 10:00 a.m. CT on January 1st at Monroe Harding in Nashville, another organization that services at risk children and young adults. He plans to walk to Phoenix, AZ.

I’m amazed by how quickly time is going by. I am used January just dragging by super slow. Not this year, I think mostly because the older I get the more demands are put on my time. I’m obsessed with time. I have a clock in every room of my house. I am rarely late for anything, I feel like I’m going to close my eyes and next thing I know my life will be passed by. Kinda reminds me of the that song from Kenny Chesney, “Don’t Blink” I hope you’re all making the best of your new decade. I’m doing my best! Happy New Year once more! Next thing we know it will be over! (WP)

I hope all the Wolf listeners had a great Christmas! We end a decade this week. It’s amazing to look back at all we’ve been through in the last ten years. The one thing that defines this decade would have to be 9/11 The single most deadly attack on American soil by a foreign enemy. So many other things happened but all pales in comparison to that moment in time. I hope that the next decade will allow all of us to heal and prosper. A very happy new year for all of us! (WP)
