How about The Guardian Angles patroling WALDO, helping the police towards the capture of the rapist?  If that guy comes up against one of The Guardian Angels, he’d be better off just giving up, or face a major can of whoop-ass!  Those guys are well trained and won’t think twice about putting him on the ground until police arrive.

The warm weather has me anxious for fishing season.  My little (2) person boat has been in storage for years, and now that I’m living here, many have told me it’s time to put it to fun use.  Now if I can just pick a good time to take my wife when she can actually catch something and not get discouraged.  Any suggestions you have on where to go for bass, bream, crappie, stripped bass or catfish, would be appreciated:).  I really miss eating fish.  Haven’t been able to since puberty.  Now, I catch, release, or keep a few for new my wife

Watched “Brooklyn’s Finest” Saturday, and feel it was pretty well done.  I give it 3 out of 5 Redvines.  After “Alice In Wonderland” took in over $116mil, I plan to see it, plus the multi-Academy Award winner “The Hurt Locker”.  Seems I’ve missed out on a film truly worth seeing.

Speaking of war, I’m anxious to see HBO’s “The Pacific”. A 10 part World War II miniseries from the same creators of HBO’s “Band Of Brothers”.  The title of the new one immediately sets the geographical background for you.  The previews, are powerful!  See HBO for more info.

The bill banning smoking in Kansas restaurants, bars and other public places has cleared state Legislature with a 68-54 vote, and will most likely be signed into law by Governor Mark Parkinson.  Smoking will still be allowed in tobacco shops, private clubs, gambling floors of state-owned casinos and that secret place, known as your home.

All WYANDOTTE COUNTY LAKES will open March 13th.  The postponement is due to icy conditions, and the fish vacationing in warmer climates.

FOX has come under the careful eye of the FCC (Federal Communications Commission), due to an angry parent complaining they tried to feed answers to their son on an upcoming new game show, “OUR LITTLE GENIUS”.  Guess FOX forgot about the 1934 Communications Act, which strictly prohibits just that.  Guess that’s … HollyWeird!

How about the (2) guys robbing a Shawnee – Mission BLOCKBUSTER employee in it’s parking lot, and a GRANDVIEW guy getting (2) years for filming and selling copies of “THE DARK KNIGHT” … is the economy ‘that’ bad?  Is stupidity on the rise?  Perhaps both?  First of all, how much money do you think you’re going to get off a BLOCKBUSTER employee, working in a failing industry!?  Also, take into consideration the fact that THE CINEMARK MERRIAM is a mere 5-10 minutes away, with $4 matinees?  Plus, when a film company spends mega millions to make a movie, don’t ya think they may have eyes open for anyone who doesn’t respect their property?  If it was your investment, you would!  That guy is gonna do (2) years in prison!  Both parties earn BLAKE POWERS JACKASS AWARDS:)!

“AMERICAN IDOL” has their TOP24, and many are wondering, “how is it that MICHAEL LYNCH is still in the line-up, after his disqualification was announced on the net, due to his dad mouthin’ off about him making the TOP24, to the St. Petersburg Times newspaper?   If true, whatever happened to editing, an explanation, and one of the tearfilled departed … called back?  Get it right, “Idol”!

Seems REESE WITHERSPOON has moved on … from JAKE GYLLENHAAL … quickly!  She’s dating high powered Hollywood agent TOM TOTH, who’s with CREATIVE ARTISTS AGENCY, one of the most stellar in the biz!  They’ve been out about 10 times, but … he hasn’t met her family, yet!  Rumors have it after losing his father last year, his death really put life into perspective for TOM and he wants to settle down. 

TIGER WOODS plans to apologize to the public tomorrow in a press conference … that won’t allow questions!?  ELIN may have one soon, “can you just sign these divorce papers?”

ELLEN DEGENERES supposedly isn’t letting FOX forget that they provided wardrobe, hair and make-up for PAULA ABDUL, and wants the same!  $150,000 worth!!!  ELLEN, how long does it take to do hair that’s 1.5 inches long?

Drove thru that sudden Sunday blizzard around 1pm on 435 W. northbound towards I-70.  Later, passed that big  Sunday afternoon 435 w. northbound multi-vehicle accident just north of the Kaw River.  Whoa!!!  I was southbound and counted 9 State Troopers and several emergency vehicles.  Last I heard, only injuries.  Amazing it wasn’t worse!

Ever broke a tooth!  I recently fell in my company parking lot on ice, and did just that .. a front one!  Bada-bing-bada-boom!  I’m now a patient at Dr. Forbes office in Mission KS.  Glad workmen’s comp is taking care of it.  Just call me snaggles!

WeIrd that “AMERICAN IDOL” couldn’t edit out MICHAEL LYNCH, being that he was booted from the show, due to his dad mouthing off about his son making it to the Top 24 to The St. Petersburg Times, in St. Petersburg FL (next to Tampa).   Plus, more of the Top24 has hit the net, so “AMERICAN IDOL” has to make some changes, beginning with tonight’s show.  Gonna be interesting to see how they handle it.

Six weeks before production for “24″ was scheduled to end, star KEIFER SUTHERLAND has decided to have a cyst removed from a kidney.  Wonder if that means everyone on the show will continue being paid while he recovers?

Did you see “THE WOLFMAN”?  Hmm?  Well … I did the matinee thing, and saved a few bucks.  Too bad the creators didn’t have enough sense to freshen up the story, because the DVD will be freshening up shelves, soon!  On a scale of 1-5 Redvines, I give it 2!

About a year ago, “WALK THE LINE” and “GLADIATOR” star JOAQUIN PHOENIX supposedly retired from acting to pursue a “Rap” career.  Remember his peculiar visit with DAVID LETTERMAN, in which DAVID pretty much gave up trying to talk with him and eventually said, “Joaquin, I’m sorry you couldn’t be here tonight”.  Well, rapping hasn’t worked, and this weekend, JOAQUIN was seen with normal looking hair … under a ball cap … SHAVED!… dressed conservatively in jeans, shirt and a pullover… and NOT rambling incoherently!  Probably because the attractive woman he was seen grabbing take-out with, wouldn’t be with him if he were!  JOAQUIN!!!  You’re a talent actor, so .. do what you do best, even if it’s just to earn a living.  Leave rapping to EMINEM.  He wears baggy pants better than you!
